Trabajar lo “masculino” en la cárcel. Reflexiones desde el centro especializado “Ofelia Vincenzi Peñaranda”

Abstract
El siguiente artículo pretende esbozar ideas sobre la forma en que el proyecto neoliberal y el recrudecimiento del discurso conservador patriarcal han precarizado la vida de los jóvenes varones, disminuyendo las oportunidades de trabajo y aumentando la penalización y encarcelamiento. Se ha generado y agravado el perfil de un sujeto sospechoso y peligroso, en el que las expresiones violentas de la masculinidad tienen su cuota de responsabilidad. Además de especificar la función e importancia de la persona trabajadora social al intervenir estas expresiones sobre la masculinidad en jóvenes privados de libertad con el objeto de disminuir las desigualdades de género.
