¿Qué significa trabajar por los derechos de los niños y las niñas?

Abstract
El trabajo expone los Derechos de los Niños y de Niñas, a fin de que funcionarios, profesionales y padres de familia los conozcan y realicen acciones que faciliten su cumplimiento. Se mencionan algunos aspectos jurídico-legales, que dan cuenta de la preocupación que del Estado,<por este grupo poblacional, hasta culminar con la creación de la Defensoría de la Infancia.
Existen diversos contextos y formas en que se violentan los Derechos de los Niños y Niñas, fenómeno que debe ser analizado por todos. Finalmente, se exponen algunas sugerencias que involucran diferentes niveles de intervención: políticos, técnicos, administrativos y operativos que podrían favorecer el cumplimiento estos Derechos y con ello un mejor desarrollo de los y las menores.
