Abstract
El documento La ética en el Trabajo Social: Declaración de principios,
redactado por el Dr. Jorge Arturo Sáenz, presidente del Colegio de
Trabajadores Sociales de Costa Rica fue aprobado por la Asamblea General
de la Federación Internacional de Trabajadores Sociales y de la Asociación
Internacional de Escuelas de Trabajo Social en Adelaida, Australia,octubre 2004.
Mi agradecimiento a la Dra. Silvana Martínez, presidenta de la Región América
Latina y El Caribe de la Federación Internacional de Trabajo Social (FITS), y a la
colega Marisa Kovensky, Trabajadora Social Argentina, miembro de la Comisión
de Ética de la Federación Argentina de Asociaciones Profesionales de Servicio
Social y representante de nuestra región en la Comisión Mundial de Ética-FITS,
por sus invaluables contribuciones y compromiso para la realización de este
trabajo.
