Abstract
Inserta en las discusiones, sociales, pedagógicas y epistemológicas del Trabajo
Social, siempre estuvo nuestra querida profesora María Cristina Romero Saint
Bonnet. Por tanto, ha sido dedicado a su memoria, el Quinto Encuentro de
Política Social, Centro América México y el Caribe, organizado por la red de
investigadores Atlantea de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, el Colegio de Traba-
jadores Sociales, la Escuela de Trabajo Social, la Carrera de Trabajo Social de
Occidente y del Recinto de Paraíso de la Universidad de Costa Rica. Celebrado
en el mes de mayo del 2003.
