Abstract
The extension project “Unlearning gender, a view from women's rights” was developed on local radio in the West, materializing a radio program once a month lasting half an hour, where the topic of gender was addressed. domestic violence, from a critical and purposeful vision, which will invite people who listened to the program to question the traditional ways of understanding the issue of gender, the construction of romantic love, family organization and female empowerment as a responsibility collective in society.
The type of research was descriptive, making documentary analysis of heuristics with Bayesian statistics and hermeneutics with the interpretation of the texts reviewed around the indicated topic.
